Experience: Confident Beginner

Have you taken Basic Quilt Making and comfortable with fundamentals? The next leap is making a quilt.  This 5-session class will walk you through the quilt making process.  Learn how to cut, sew, press, and assemble a quilt.  Each night we will focus on a step in the quilt making process.  To ensure you have the best results we encourage you to work with supplies and fabrics offered here at Quiltworks. Some nights you will have a homework task to complete before the next class.  The class fee is $130 + additional supplies required.  All supplies for class are discounted 15%.

Class 1: Quilt Making Essentials, Fabric Selection, Preparation, Cutting – No Machine on this night

Class 2: Quilt Top Assembly – Sewing Machine Needed

Class 3: Making a Quilt Sandwich Calculating Backing, Batting, Binding   - Sewing Machine Needed

Class 4: Domestic Machine Quilting - Sewing Machine Needed
