Summer Kids Kamps

2 sessions, 4 day camps 1:30 - 4:30 each day

Sewing Classes are for ages 8 and up. We use sewing machines, sharp scissors, pins and irons. We stress and teach safety every step of the way.

Kamps are limited this summer, don't wait to sign-up.

We teach students the basic fundamentals of the sewing machine and how to sew a straight seam. 
(We use our sewing machines – please don’t bring yours). 

In addition, your student will learn how to use sewing notions (scissors, pins, iron, etc) in a safe way. The goal is to complete a quilt that they can take home on Friday learning the basic steps in quilt making.
 In order to advance, students must start with Beginning Kids Kamp.

Students choose their own fabric (front and backing) for this class. Fabrics for the front of the quilt will need to be purchased and cut before class.

If you wish, a teacher will cut the fabric for you for a $5 fee. If we are cutting for you, we will need the fabric at least one week before class begins. If you do your own cutting, be sure you cut accurately for your kid’s success.
