Sewing Machine Confidence

Are you ready to sew? Do you have a sewing machine and ready to make something? This class is for those who would like to get acquainted with the operations of a sewing machine. We’ll get familiar with parts of a sewing machine, notions, and tools. Class project will be a throw pillow.
Basic Quilting Part 1 -
January 28th 9:30am- 3:30pm
Experience: Confident Beginner
In this class we will cover fabrics and notions as well as setting up your sewing machine for a ¼ inch seam. We will make patchwork blocks using strip set piecing technique. To be successful in the class, please be proficient winding a bobbin, threading, and sewing on a machine.

Fun with EPP - Brimfield Block

Experience: Confident Beginner
English Paper Piecing is a fantastic way to quilt on the go. Join this class to learn basics tools and techniques of EPP. This class will cover the Triangle paper piece shape and different ways you can arrange the templates. Must be comfortable with hand sewing or have taken the Basics of English Paper Piecing.
Make a Quilt in a Weekend

March 25th 9:30am-4:00pm
Make a Quilt from start to finish. This class will walk you through constructing a quilt from piecing to binding. Day 1 you will cut and piece a quilt top, along with preparing the binding and backing. Day 2 is spray basting the quilt top, batting and backing to make a quilt sandwich. Finishing up with machine quilting and binding completing the 3 yard quilt.
