Once the first sets of strips are cut, the rules go out the window. A lot of freedom goes into the next step of cutting and the way the blocks are pieced.  This is a very informal, scrappy quilt with the model made with black and white prints then a little splash of color in each block.  The more fabrics you use the better the visual interest.  Although you will use a ¼” seam allowance when piecing, this quilt does not require the precision that many of our other quilts require, which is a bit liberating.  Let go and empower yourself to be chaotic and random!  In order to get a better understanding of what this quilt is about, please visit the quilt shop to get a look at the model.
